WEEEEELLLLLLLLLL....the LP is now out of our hands, and being mastered as you read this update. Last week we were in the lab at the last minute cranking out ONE MORE joint to drop on the LP. The beat for this heater was provided by none another than MF DOOM. That's right folks, Metal Face really blessed us, so look for that joint as well as the 18 others on the "HIGH RISK" LP to sugarcoat those eardrums soon. Check out his new appearances everywhere right now: Count Bass D's "Dwight Spitz", MF GRIMM's LP, "The Downfall of Iblis : A Ghetto Opera", High Times' "THC" compilation, the Herbaliser's new LP "Something Wicked This Way Comes"...whew, this brother is wrecking it!
On the show side of things, we've been making some serious rounds here lately in our homebase of Altanta. We able to pop off a few joints at Scienz of Life's album release party on May 10th at MJQ, hit up the Somber Reptile on this past Thursday for Hip-Hop Appreciation Week, and rocked the Apache Cafe as well on Saturday, the 18th, for Stahhr Da FEMCEE's single release party. For those of you that missed it, well you're just plain assed out, 'cause we dropped quite a few of the new joints that will appear on the new HIGH RISK LP, including those with Scienz and Stahhr.
That's about all for now. Stay tuned, the LP will be here sooner than you think. It will definitely be worth your wait. Get at us on the email or drop us a line on the message board!

OK, OK...so it's been a minute since we posted. Thought we would go ahead and drop a little science on what is going on in the walls of Dirty Blanket Studios and this dadgumm "HIGH RISK!"LP.
This week Jon Doe is putting the finishing touches on this beast of an LP. All of the tracks are have been mixed, tweaked and run through the proverbial ringer. Tracks for the LP have been selected. Looks like there's gonna be NINETEEN bad boys on this joint. That's not including intro, interludes, etc. This LP is gonna be a very full plate for everyone to digest. We are extremely excited. Even better, we still have 5 or 6 tracks from the "HIGH RISK!" sessions that are in the vault right now, so keep your eyes peeled for those joints in various places over the year. We'll keep you updated, we can't tell you everything, can we? Hell no!
So, by this weekend, we'll have a full LP on our hands, and from that point, we'll be sending that baby off to mastering. The world will see this thing dropping soon enough. Remember, this LP is a joint venture between Asylum Entertainment/Day by Day Entertainment. And speaking of Day by Day Entertainment and our main man DJ Fisher, please go check out the recently released MF GRIMM LP, "The Downfall of Iblis : A Ghetto Opera", and Count Bass D's "Dwight Spitz" LP These guys are killing it, both LP's are amazing. You can find it at the finest online stores, including Sandbox Automatic. And while you're there, pick up a "True Urban Grit" 12"!!!
See you all in a few. Expect more frequent updates from here on out! Everyone please drop by the message board and say hello!
