Whaddup my people? Things are going well here in Prophetix land..big show this weekend at Middlebury College in Vermont with Binary Star and Asheru from the Unspoken Heard. We're flying up Saturday, gonna tear shit down, and then speak on a panel on Sunday. It's gonna be real fly. Going to be quite exciting to see Binary Star, as this is one of their first shows back since they reunited this fall.
And let's not forget about our latest and greatest mention in one of the music industry's greatest magazines, URB. Check out Issue 100 (Neptunes cover) and take a gander at Dj Numark's (Jurassic 5 DJ) top ten at the moment. Why, you ask? Well, a certain hip-hop group from the ATL that you may have heard of made this list along with other cats such as Eric Sermon, Tribe Called Quest, Main Source and Jaz-0. Peep it out. Thanks to Numark for the love! If you haven't copped the new Jurassic 5 LP, Power in Numbers, run out to your nearest record store NOW. Aaaaaannnddddd....we will be opening for Talib Kweli (new album "Quality" out now) next Saturday, November 30th at the Cotton Club here in the ATL. A very hot night indeed. Come work off all that Thanksgiving turkey if you're in the area, it's gonna be a barnstormer!

Whaddup folks...For all that don't know, it's Hiphop History month. Check out www.hiphophistory.com for more some eye-opening info. You owe it to yourself if you call yourself Hiphop to learn as much about this Kulture as possible.
Now for some additions to Hiphop History, Prophetix will be opening for Talib Kweli on November 30th at the Cotton Club in ATL. We also have a couple of shows in the works for Kentucky and Vermont. We'll get you more information on those two shows later. Also we got some nice reviews of High Risk in not one but two magazines based out of the United Kingdom: DJ Magazine and B&S Magazine...both positive of course. :-)
RIP to my man Merlin Santana. He played Romeo on "The Steve Harvey Show." He was a funny dude. We gotta stop this senseless murder madness!!!
