ASYLUM EntertainmentÂ?s own, EDDIE MEEKS, has just been named 1 0f the 5 finalist of the MP3.COM Â?ROCK THE MIC AT ROCK THE BELLSÂ? CONTEST!!!
ROCK THE BELLS, one of the brightest hip-hop music festivals in the country, is set to return this summer on Saturday, August 5 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino in Southern California. This yearÂ?s massive line-up features the return performance from the Wu-Tang Clan featuring a tribute to ODB, whose final performance with the Clan became legendary two years ago on the ROCK THE BELLS stage. The rest of the line-up is a dream billing with Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Redman, De La Soul, Aesop Rock, Living Legends, DEL The Funky Homosapien, Immortal Technique, MURS 3:16, Visionaries, Self Scientific and Planet Asia, plus more acts to be announced. An additional show in Northern California is also confirmed for Sunday, August 6 with details to follow at a later date.
MP3.com and ROCK THE BELLS sent a call out for all hip-hop solo MCs to offer them a chance to perform at this yearÂ?s ROCK THE BELLS concert on August 5 at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, CA. MP3.com will select a winner from the entrants based on their talent and fly them to the event in San Bernardino, CA.
The 5 finalists were chosen by the judges There will be a final selection period on or about from 4:59 pm PT on July 27, 2006 to 11:59pm PT July 27, 2006. One winner will be chosen during the final selection period by the MP3.com community members, who will be granted access to each finalistÂ?s song submission. The communityÂ?s decision is final and binding on all matters relating to the ContestÂ?s final selection portion, unless there is a tie, in which case, a panel of qualified judges shall determine the winner and the judgesÂ? decisions shall be final and binding.
The contest winner will receive a travel package to San Bernardino, CA for the Rock the Bells festival on August 5, 2005. The package will include one roundtrip economy class plane ticket (from the nearest major continental U.S. city to the Los Angeles International Airport) (ARV $500), two night single occupancy hotel accommodations (room and tax only) (ARV $500), and a Rock the Bells VIP pass (ARV $150). The contest winner will be provided a contact person and a schedule for visiting the stage and other related opportunities. The winner will have the opportunity to perform live on stage at the Rock the Bells festival on August 5, 2006 on the main stage. The winner will also have the opportunity to be interviewed by media outlets, such as MP3.com.

PROPHETIX GEARS UP TO TOUR EUROPE IN FEEBRUARY/ MARCH 07
Atlanta, GA Asylum Entertainment Group International & Domination Recordings, in conjunction with Filthy Habits, GamePlan Promotions, and Headnod.co.uk proudly present the Catfish & Chips: PROPHETIX meets WYTFANG and his Filthy Habits European promotional tour. During the week of February 23, 2007 through March 2, 2006, PROPHETIX will make stops in London, Paris, Amsterdam and other popular Hip Hop destinations. The tour will be in support of the PROPHETIX and WYTFANG full length collaboration album entitled Catfish & Chips slated to be released Fall 2006.

PROPHETIX has toured with legendary Hip Hop artists like KRS-ONE and graced the stage with Grammy Award-winning group The Roots.
