Whaddup Whaddup!!! Happy New Year to All. 2003 promises to be a great year for Prophetix . High Risk made several Best Albums of 2002 charts not only in the United States but in places like Sweden, the UK, and Canada. Our music reached far away places like South Africa, Germany (again), and Japan (again)...all with no major label influence. And we got to rock many live shows this year with such names as Scienz of Life, Stahhr, Lost N Found Department, Binary Star, Unspoken Heard, MF Doom, Talib Kweli, and Slum Village. ATL has a lot of crews too so I can't forget those on the homefront who supported us either. Oh yeah and I got a chance to meet the master mack himself, pimp supreme, Filmore Slim. He battled my man Spekt at the Mic Club.
Big ups to those who supported us in 2002 and we look forward to bringing you the "Hotness" this year with releases from High Risk, the DJ Jon Doe producer project, and the Eddie Meeks solo album. In addition to that we will be adding some goodies to the website such as video footage from live shows and interview clips with the members of Prophetix. We'll also crank up the press releases again to keep everybody in the know so if you haven't signed up for our email list please take a moment to do so now...
Thanks again for checking out www.prophetix.net and have a prosperous 2003.
Oneness...
