Eddie Meeks solo album is coming together beautifully. I remember when it took every single night for two months to mix "High Risk". Now mixing really ain't a thang. It's just finding the time to do it. We should be done with this joint very soon, and we'll have snippets up as well. Details on when and where it's dropping will be arriving momentarily...
While you're waiting for the snippets, remember to check out the Meeks' first official mixtape, "Getcha Money Maine" Vol.1.
For our vinyl heads, please remember that the stellar Prophetix cut "Gotcha" off Jon Doe's "Meet Jon Doe" project is finally available on vinyl. You can get it at fine hip-hop establishments everywhere. Also included on that 12" is the C Rayz Walz, J Sands and Supastition cut from said album. Pick it up, pick it up, pick it UP!
ALSO, very important...PLEASE sign up for the email list. I know you haven't seen much from us in a while in terms of newsletters, but we are about to get things going again. This time around I believe we are going to use Yahoo Groups as a way to distro our info to the email list, so please confirm/join the group when you see the notice in your inbox!
More later!

Watch out for something big here in the next few weeks, and no, this is not some corny hype BS. This is the real deal. You heard it here, you will be VERY suprised. For now, check out the latest and greatest from ATL's finest:
Rumor Mill:
Prophetix is back in the lab. Follow up to High Risk? Word is this one will make you forget about it. Meeks and Mello strictly on the rhymes, Doe strictly on the cuts and beats.
Meeks solo album? Dropping sooner than you think?
Meet Jon Doe follow up?
Facts:
Jon Doe new mix cd out now on newly formed Domination Recordings, a minty fresh label headed up by Dj Fisher. The first volume in the Domination mix cd series is called "Family and Friends", and is a 60+ minute overview of the flavor that has and will come from Domination. Check out the tracklisting here and peep the art below. It's available at fine hip-hop spots everywhere, if you cant' find it, email me or head over to Domination Recordings website.
Eddie Meeks latest release, "Getcha Money Maine" Vol.1, also mixed by Jon Doe, is out now. This thing is packed with new joints, freestyles and some great appearances from Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Young Lo, Jax Dead Lefty (Binkis) and of course Mello Melanin. Preview what's coming from Meeks solo LP that will dropping sooner and more readily than you can ever imagine. Also, if you're in the ATL area, have a sattellite, etc, look for Meeks in the new Atlanta Hawks commercials for Turner South that have been airing NONSTOP since late last fall. Meeks penned the theme for the commercial and made a fresher than fresh appearance in the commercial, too. If you pay real close attention, you may recognize the deep baritone on a few other commercials on various Turner affiliated networks. Who said we only made music? We'll see if we can get some video/audio snippets up soon of the Hawks commercial. And if that's not enough, peep out Meeks appearance on Cadence's(Raw Produce) new production LP "State Lines". It's your All Time Favorite.
Please peep out production from Jon Doe on these joints out now, if you didn't know already. These are some solid albums too, please support these cats.
Outerspace feat. Kingsyze & Des - "Gods and Generals" - Blood and Ashes LP - Babygrande
Braille feat. Manchild of marsILL - "Microphone Rush" - Shades of Grey LP - HipHopIsMusic
Raw Produce - "Wack MC" remix - Raw Produce Remix EP (J. Rawls, 7L, Omid)- SuperBro
And to close this out, London peeps please check out Jon Doe on our Mr. Lawson's radio show on ItchFM 105.15 this Tuesday night from 8pm-10pm. Doe laced the L with a nice 30 minute mix of brand new cuts, and in turn the L is getting me some exposure on the other side of the Atlantic. If Mr. Lawson is nice he'll let us upload the mix in shortly thereafter. Come back in a few days to see if he was kind enough to do so.
Overload? We hope so. See you sooner than later.

Since it's been a minute that we've posted anything, I just thought I would drop a line on the people who have been checkin' in on us and waitin' to hear something...anything from us. Don't think that we fell off. We had to pull another Sun Tzu move for '05. Be on the lookout for some major site updates and a whole bunch of good music that everyone can peep out. All I'm sayin' to the haters is "Step up ya game 'cause we's a comin'!!!" Oh yeah, Happy New Year!!!
